Say good night, close your eyes, summer’s over now. Starry night, moonlit skies, we’re all sober now. Should we speak what’s on our minds? Or leave it locked up deep inside? Will this be our final hour? Or will someone break this ice? Everybody wants, everybody needs, everybody sleeps, and everybody breathes. Everybody saw, yeah everybody heard, everybody hold onto these words. We were meant to go the distance, everything was so much different then. The time has come, the earth has turned, I wonder if we’ll ever learn. When memories die and tongues are tied, are your ears open now? So if you want it then take it. If you need it don’t fake it, the time to speak up is now. Everybody dreams and everyone believes that everyone will find everything they need. Everybody’s loved and everybody’s lost, everybody knows what that can cost. The table’s set so make your plans, we might not get a second chance, and this could be our only chance.
